Description
Laser Filters are used to reject a wavelength or range of wavelengths while transmitting wanted wavelengths for a number of laser applications.
In order to avoid the substrate coated with the cut-off material being subjected to the thermal effect of the bandpass wavelength radiation to reduce the filter characteristics, it is recommended that the side coated with the cut-off film be oriented towards the light source (light travels along the arrow direction). The filter is based on the vertical incidence of collimated light design dielectric film thickness, such as non-collimated light or light does not vertically incident on the surface of the filter, the design center wavelength will move to the short wavelength, and the bandpass transmittance curve will change.
Rays optics offers a wide range of Laser Filters suited for many laser system needs.
